My husband, Alex, and I created a To-Do app for the iPhone called Focus Fu. Alex developed it and I created the interface as well as the icons. For more information, you can go to FocusFu.com or check it out on my iPhone Apps tab. Add Comment I created this site using weebly.com. Let me tell you, it was so easy! I just clicked and dragged. Ok, I spent a lot of time designing everything from the background to the header, but they have a bunch of designs to choose from if you don't want to make your site unique. First I picked one of their designs that had a nice layout so I wouldn't have to make too many changes to the CSS code, then I downloaded their images for reference to placement and grid. After that, I created my own images and uploaded them pretty easily. Here's what my site pretty much looked like before I uploaded my own images: Of Course the picture of me was uploaded, but everything else is from their template. As you can see, they let you change a lot, in fact you can pretty much change everything including html and CSS. In order to upload your files, you need to click the HTML/CSS button (I circled it in yellow below) on the Design tab. After you've clicked the HTLM/CSS button, the screen below will come up on the HTML tab - do not be alarmed by the code, just click the FILES tab. Before you create your own images, download theirs for reference by clicking on each file, then click the previewed image in the blue outline. That will take you to the image itself where you will need to right-click it to download. Notice that the selected image above is just a thin line which up close looks like this: That's because they have repeated this image over and over again in the code. It looks fine, but is hard to use as a design grid. If you want a different background than their template, be sure to use a template that has a background image like the one I used (refer to top). Also, when uploading your files, make sure they have the same names as the files you're replacing, otherwise, your site will still look the same as the template. I hope that helps, you can always contact weebly with questions or me if you'd like. Before I finish, I want to point out the ability to use paypal, I'm not selling anything on this site in particular, but I'm thinking of selling some of my creations, so I tested out the feature and it's so accessible. I just put my paypal email address in the settings and it automatically linked my account with the paypal element I dragged from "Revenue" on the Elements tab. This blog feature is also pretty cool.
