Don't Forget the Sponsors

Every year the Sherwood Cultural Arts Commission hosts Movies in the Park. This year I was privileged enough to join the Commission. I designed an ad for them with all the information, or so I thought.

Then I got an email back asking me to add the logos of the sponsors. I was worried I wouldn't be able to fit it in to this 2.125x3.5 ad, but I moved some things around and split things up so it now looks like this:

Sometimes splitting things up can actually give you more room.

Alex and I have been married since July 2007. On May 6, 2010, we we're blessed with our little Avrie. We also have a dog named Cola.

I graduated in July 2009 with a BS of Communications and a split minor in Graphic Design and Web Design.

Alex and I moved to Oregon in June, 2010 after he got a job as the Director of Operations at Sierra Pacific Crafts. He is now the CEO.

He and I also own Kaelex, Inc. Kaelie Nielsen Design (kaenie.com) is a smaller part of the incorporation that I own for freelancing design.

We like spending family time together enjoying the quality music and food that the Portland area is so abundant with.

Avrie is such a joy, her smiles warm our hearts. We love watching her grow – every new development is so exciting. It's going by so fast, we hope we don't miss a thing.

Cola doesn’t tear apart shoes, eat toilet paper, and pee on the carpet anymore. So I guess you could say we've made progress.
